Sadly, for many of those who belong to the LGBT+ community, home doesn’t always feel like home, because homophobia still manages to find its way there.
But for IKEA, home is more than a physical space. Home is that feeling of safety, freedom and intimacy we seek from both a place and in a person.
That’s why, for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, we invited everyone to be someone’s home, by embodying that welcoming place where those who face discrimination can finally find acceptance.
